Built in furniture for your home office does not suit every customer. Bespoke handmade free-standing storage cabinets can prove just as useful, especially if you decide you want to use the furniture somewhere else in your home in future years. The top of the storage cabinets can be made with adjustable shelves to store books.

Lockable Filing Cabinets

We can make filing cabinets to fit in with the rest of your study or office furniture. These filing cabinets can be made lockable, as two or three drawer, with or without suspension files.

The shelving unit shown was part of a suite of pine furniture for a study and library room. We made several cabinets of various sizes to go between doorways and windows, and we only had a narrow space to work with for these bookshelves.

The bookcase can be made as a full shelving unit, if cupboard storage is not required

This bookcase has no cut out on the plinth, but kept a fluted detail on the uprights to match in with other furniture in the study.

Traditional Style Double Bookcase with Adjustable Shelving

This wide bookcase has a centre upright which halves the span of the bookshelf, stopping it from bending under the weight of the books. The bookshelves are still adjustable to suit the size of the books, and each bookshelf can be altered to suit.

This oak bookcase was finished in a light stain, with a pine tonque and groove back.
